Meyer Telephone#: 540-653-7943 Email Address: marta.meyer@navy.mil Description and Code: 71 - Furniture This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis/Solicitation N00178-16-T-0180 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole source basis, (55) DK-085133-00 Custom Desk Assembly, manufactured and distributed by Crenlo/EMCOR. (Laminate Color: Sienna Wild Apple, Paint Color: Paint should be color "Steel TX ST P") Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due August 4, 2016, no later than 1:00 p.m. EST with an anticipated award date by 23 September 2016. Questions and responses regarding this synopsis/solicitation may be submitted by e-mail to marta.meyer@navy.mil. All questions shall be submitted to the Government POC listed no later than August 2, 2016 at 1:00p.m. EST to allow ample response time before the close of the bidding period.
