- Attachment H Attachment G Attachment F Attachment E Attachment D Attachment C Attachment B Attachment A RFP The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is issuing a solicitation for its requirement for the research and development of a new overt and device assisted security features suitable for use in protecting the next generation of United States Federal Reserve Notes from counterfeiting threats in addition to providing the general public with a user friendly feature to quickly and confidently validate notes passed in common, everyday transactions. For this requirement, the BEP would like to develop a new device assisted feature based upon intaglio printed optical waveguide technology. The Government may elect to award a single contract or multiple contracts. The Government anticipates that the resulting contract(s) will be firm fixed price with a base year and three option years.
