- The Letter solicitation will contain one NSN for a MANIFOLD, FLUID, AIRC. For a firm fixed price contract. The OEM and the approved source is UNITED TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION; CAGE: 52661/77445 P/N: 4082811. The NSN and quantity are as follows: NSN 2995-01-418-4143; Quantity: 48 each. FOB: Origin; Inspection/Acceptance: ORIGIN. This item has been identified as Critical Safety Item (CSI). Government First Article Testing (FAT) applies. Requested delivery for First Article is 90 days. Total requested delivery is 495 DARO. T he solicitation issue date is on or about August 12, 2016. PPIRS applies; the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation; In accordance with 10 U. S. C. 2304 (c) (1), other than full and open competition applies. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only the approved source of supply under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. DLA-Aviation does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item, please do not submit requests. Any manufacturer, other than United Technologies Corporation wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval package. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufactuer meets qualification requirement at the time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2.
