Description
SMITH CRK VALLEY & MILL CANYON - LOP & SCATTER The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office has a requirement for the manual cutting of approximately 3,650 acres of pinyon and juniper trees in two (2) project areas. The project areas in are the BLM Carson City District area, (Lander and Lyon Counties). The BLM will issue a HUBZone Set-Aside competitive solicitation on/about August 4, 2016 and intends to award a single firm fixed price contract. The set-aside competitive solicitation, L16PS01027, is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.13, Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 115310, Support Activities for Forestry-Fuels Management Services and the size standard is $19.0M (per the SBA's Table of Small Business Size Standards). A Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation package will be available electronically on or about Thursday August 4, 2016 at www.fbo.gov and www.fedconnect.net. Proposals will be due no later than Thursday August 18, 2016. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring these sites for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered and complete the online Representations and Certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base via website: http://www.sam.gov. To be eligible for a HUBZone contract the contractor must be a HUBZone small business concern both at the time of its initial offer and at the time of contract award. Award will be based on Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror(s). Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring www.fbo.gov and www.fedconnect.net for the release of the solicitation package, for any other pertinent information, and for downloading a complete copy of the solicitation package. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
