Description
Provides a description of the work to be preformed Solicitation document COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation ("synopsitation" hereafter), which is expected to result in award of a "Firm-Fixed Price" contract for a commercial service, i.e., DAU Pod 3, 2 nd Floor Refresh. The synopsitation is prepared in accordance with the provisions in the Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsitation is conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). An award, if any, will be made to the responsible offeror who submits a proposal that (1) conforms to the requirements of the synopcitation; (2) that receives a rating of "Acceptable" on the Techinical Capability evaluation factor; (3) that submits the proposal with the lowest total evaluation price (TEP), provided that the TEP is not unbalanced and is fair and reasonable. The government reserves the right to award without discussion or make no award at all depending upon (1) the quality of the proposals received and (2) the price fair and reasonableness of proposal received. An organized site visit is scheduled for 16 August 2016 at 1200 hrs; government personnel will meet all interested vendors in the 2nd floor lobby of DAU 3100 Research Blvd. (Pod 3). Contractor's are required to RSVP for the site visit 72 hours in advance of the scheduled date. In accordance with FAR 52.237-1 - Site visit (Apr 1984) attendance is recommended for clarification of the project. RSVP should include individuals name, driver's license number, state of license, date of birth, and company name. Solicitation Number: FA8601-16-T-0339 This acquisition is a Total Small Business Setaside under North American Industry Classification ( NAICS) Code: 238390, Size Standard is: $15,000,000.00. Synopsitation Closing Date: Proposals must be received not later than 10:00 am, Eastern Time on 23 August 2016. Note that e-mail filters at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base are designed to filter e-mails without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or contents (i.e.,.exe or.zip files). Therefore, if the specified subject line is not included, the e-mail may not get through the e-mail filters. Also be advised that.zip or.exe files are not allowable attachments and may be deleted by the email filters at Wright-Patterson. If sending attachments with email, ensure only.pdf,.doc,.docx,.xls or.xlsx documents are sent. The email filter may delete any other form of attachments.
