- The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS), Gateway National Recreation Area, Staten Island, NY ) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) P16PS01901 for the deconstruction and reconstruction of 223 lineal feet of stone wall by means of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision to deconstruct and reconstruct the stone wall according to the specifications of the forthcoming solicitation. This project is being solicited as 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation, including all bid documents, will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect on or about August 12, 2016. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from one of the above sites. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in SAM-System for Award Management-in order to receive contract awards. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238140, Masonry Contractors. The Size Standard is $15 M. The magnitude for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000 and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. A Bid Guarantee, Payment Bond and Performance Bond are required. There will be a site visit scheduled and perspective bidders are encouraged to visit the site to satisfy themselves as to conditions before providing a bid.
