- Synopsis Title: Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source to Curtiss-Wright Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a noncompetitive basis with Curtiss-Wright, 3222 S. Washington Street, Salt Lake City, UT, 84115-3426, for continued operational performance of the command and control (C2) computer with the availability to perform operational missions in extreme environments. This C2 mission computer will provide interface and control for various components of the OCOMM airborne and underwater segments. This computer will interface and provide status for environmental sensors, and provide command and control to the optical sub-system and airborne gimbal. Based on the aforementioned facts, only one responsible source and no other supplier will satisfy agency requirements in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 apply. The applicable NAICS Code is 334419 and the business size standard is 750. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing that they can fulfill this requirement may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firms ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of this requirement. Any comments, questions or concerns regarding this notice may be submitted IN WRITING via e-mail to jose.juarez@navy.mil All responding vendors must be registered to the System for Award Management (SAM) website prior to award of contract.
