- RFQ 28 July 2015 RFQ posted closing date and time 11 Aug at 11:00 am EDST 25 July 2015 The purpose of this amendment to the synopsis is to correct the dates for each training. 2D Reconnaissance Battalion, 2D Marine Division aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina has a requirement for aircraft services, lodging and storage facilities at the vendor's site for Marines undergoing parachute training from 30 September 2016 through 22 October 2016 and aircraft with pilots in order to conduct Parachute Training aboard Camp Lejeune and Camp Davis North Carolina f rom 20 September 2016 through 22 September 2016. It is the Government's intention to issue a firm fixed price contract in accordance with FAR part 13. The proposed acquisition will be set-aside 100% for Small Business. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 481219, Other Nonscheduled Air Transportation. The Small Business Size Standard is $15 million. The Government will solicit and award this contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. The Government intends to award to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. The solicitation No. M67001-16-T-1262 will be posted on or about 6 days after this posting and made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site at www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website. All prospective offers interested in submitting an offer must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code).
