- Solicitation Package - FOB Terrazzo Restoration in the GSA Northwest/Artic Region Federal Office Building Terrazzo Restoration Project Located in the GSA Northwest/Arctic Region REQUEST FOR Proposal (RFP) EQ10PCB-2-16-5022 Issue Date: Thursday, July 28, 2016 The General Services Administration (GSA), Northwest Arctic Region, intends to solicit Request for Proposal for firm-fixed priced contract for the Federal Office Building Terrazzo Restoration Project. There is a need to restore areas of terrazzo and marble. On the 1st Floor, the south wing has carpeted-over terrazzo with a marble border. The majority of the door openings in the south wing have marble thresholds that are to be restored as well. The north stairway stairs and landings between the 8th and 9th floors were until recently covered in linoleum. The terrazzo landings, including the landing at the 9th floor level, marble borders and marble steps in both areas are to be restored. This project is located in the Federal Office Building (FOB) Seattle. The FOB Seattle is listed on the National Register of Historic places. All work performed shall be in accordance with the Secretary of Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. The Request for Proposal (RFP) form and instructions are enclosed for your use.
