- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13.106, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Solicitation No. DE-SOL-0010161 is being issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 423490. The National Energy Technology Laboratory has a need/requirement for a Large Diameter Fusion Splicer and accessories. The Large Diameter Fusion Splicer shall be brand name or equal to the items identified below. Items equal to the brand name specified must meet the minimum salient characteristics of the specified items. EVALUATION: An award shall be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote. The Government anticipates issuing a single award from this RFQ. Selection will be based on the quotation that is considered technically acceptable with the lowest firm-fixed price quote. To be considered for evaluation, vendors must quote on all items/services listed in the solicitation. Vendors shall submit descriptive literature detailing features, technical capabilities and warranty data, as necessary. Technical acceptability shall be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this solicitation. DELIVERY: FOB Destination. QUOTE PRICE MUST INCLUDE any freight, shipping, handling, as well as any applicable duties, brokerage, or customs fees.
