- Amendment 0002: Extend Due Date, other changes. Movie Concession Stand Products DESCRIPTION: ( AMENDMENT 0002 ) CNIC Navy seeks to establish a contract to supply base theater concession operations. The contract is anticipated to supply the various military installation movie theater locations throughout the Navy CNIC Movie Program Worldwide Enterprise to include Marine Corps and Coast Guard installations. Through this contract Navy seeks to produce a more standardized selection of food and drink items and serving sizes, while realizing improved product distribution and cost savings via bulk purchasing for multiple sites (product items and the worldwide locations). B. This modification is issued to provide the new due date, to provide revisions to Section B SUPPLIES OR SERVICES AND PRICES/COSTS, and to the Section C- Work Statement. C. The Section B Requirements have been revised to include a reduced number of items (See the Table, Item D of Amendment). D. The Work Statement, Section C-2. DESCRIPTION, is revised as follows: (para 2) To that end we encourage interested parties to submit offers identifying any combination of the listed locations to be serviced and detailing the specific products to be provided for each location. ADD: (new paragraph) The Navy CNIC is seeking to standardize and limit the types of product to as few as possible vendors. In this manner, the CNIC may keep a more accurate inventory of purchases and costs involved. Award of separate (partial) contracts to two or more offerors for the same item, where the award of a single contract would be impractical or impossible will be closely monitored. Multiple Awards will be considered when there is no reasonable alternative. The modification (A0002) to the solicitation package is attached. This notice is a request for competitive proposals. CNIC will consider responses received by 3:30 P.M., Central on 15 August 2016. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to John.Wolfslau@navy.mil. No telephone requests will be honored.
