- **PLEASE READ: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW** Solicitation Documents: The solicitation is issued as a Commercial Item Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about 08/03/2016. Description: This project is to conduct pre-commercial thinning (both hand and mastication) activities on the South Fork Management Unit of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Location: All units are located within 5 air miles of Hayfork, California. All items are on the same road system in the Tule Creek Area. Units can be accessed by taking Highway 3 west out of town, turning right onto Tule Creek Road. After about 3 miles Tule Creek Road becomes the 10 road, continue on the 10 road approximately 5 miles, when you reach the crest of the ridge turn left onto the 2N13, travel just 0.1 miles and turn left onto the 2N51, all the units are located on the 2N51 and its associated spurs. Contract Time: Item 1 PCT Hand release by January 31, 2017. All other items by January 31, 2018 Estimated Start Date: 09/15/2016 Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than date indicated on solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management(SAM) prior to award. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases. County: Trinity
