Description

This purpose of this synopsis is to notify potential vendors of a requirement for the Lexington Kentucky VA Medical Center. A contractor is needed to furnish all labor, equipment, vehicles and materials necessary for the collection and disposal of trash and refuse and transport to an approved landfill that meets all local, state, and federal laws for proper disposal of contents. The Lexington VA Medical center has two separate locations. They are the Leestown Road division and the Cooper Drive division. The Cooper Drive division has approximately two pick-up locations. Pick-up frequency for this division ranges from two times per week to as-needed. The Leestown division has approximately ten pick-up locations. Pick-up frequency for this division ranges from one to three times per week and on an as needed basis. Approximately 2 to 4 million pounds of trash will be accumulated annually and require removal. The solicitation for this requirement will be made public through the government point of entry, www.FBO.gov on or about August 15th 2016.
