- The Naval Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE), under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm fixed price contract, on a sole-source basis, to Aeroflex, Inc. Wichita, Kansas (Cage: 51190) to provide services necessary to inspect, repair, calibrate and return the IFR 6000 Avionics Test Set (NIIN 01-587-3942) to operational condition and to ensure Fleet readiness. This acquisition will be limited to Aeroflex, Inc. (Cage: 51190) and authorized distributors. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETETIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the Systems Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit an award a contract.
