- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is AG-0343-S-16-0073 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is a small business set-aside with an associated NAICS code of 115310. The small business size standard is $7.5 million dollars. This solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89. DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this solicitation is for the collection of western white pine cones from a 19.8 acre seed orchard and 6.9 acre seed orchard located at Lone Mountain. The cones are to be picked from the seed orchard trees, cleaned of all needles and debris for Government delivery to the cone shed for processing. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment and supplies needed to perform the work. The cone crop forecast predicts there is a range of 800-1200 bushels of cones to be harvested. DATES: August 8, 2016 through September 1, 2016 See the attached Solicitation Package. EVALUATION FACTORS: Award will be made to the quoter whose quote, as determined by the Contracting Officer, provides the best value to the Government based on the following factors: price, past performance, and experience. -52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. -52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, addenda are included in attachment -52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items Quotes are due no later than Friday, August 3, 2016 at 1600 PT.
