- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division intends to award a sole source contract to Symvionics based on the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1 justification for only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements for support and updates to IADS software packages. This requirement is for a 36-month maintenance for the site license of the IADS software package. Only Symvionics, the original equipment manufacturer, can warranty and maintain their software. This software is solely made and maintained by Symvionics, and the software is required to support operations. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing they can fulfill the requirement may submit a written response which shall be considered by the Agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N68936-16-R-0064 and clearly show the firm's capability, background, experience, and assets necessary to meet the requirement without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and delivery of the product. Interested businesses shall submit written responses by e-mail in Microsoft Word format (version 1997-2003) to william.s.glenn@navy.mil no later than 15 days from this Notice date. Please submit all questions to Billy Glenn at william.s.glenn@navy.mil or (760) 939-3772. E-mail responses shall be received at this office no later than 3:00 P.M. Pacific Standard Time on 08/10/2016 and reference this synopsis number on both the e-mail subject line as well as on all enclosed documents. Information and materials submitted in response to this request WILL NOT be returned. Classified material SHALL NOT be submitted.
