- Waste Management Services (i) This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award as prescribed under FAR 13.1, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation requesting quotations. (ii) Solicitation LAJCC-RFQ-2016-11 is issued as a request for quotation for Waste Management pick up and other services. (iii) The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect as of July 26th, 2016. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) may be accessed on the Internet at http://www.acquisition.gov/far/ (FAR). (iv) This solicitation is not restricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111 Solid Waste Pickup. (v) Scope: The intent of this solicitation is to obtain Waste Management pick up and other services at the Los Angeles Job Corps Center Campus located at 1020 South Olive Street and 217 West 11th, Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015 and our satellite building located at 2501 South, Alameda Street, Los Angeles, CA 90038. Trash will be picked up five (5) days per week as specified in the Performance Work Statement. (vi) Subcontractor must provide containers as specified in the Performance Work Statement for all the buildings as listed. This RFQ request a quote is for one (1) base year plus 4 each one (1) year options.
