Description

The purpose of this notice is to publicize the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR subpart 6.302-2. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is seeking to contract with LifeWorks US, Inc. to provide EAP and Work Life services. Ceridian is currently providing these services under contract TCC15HQG0001, which will expire on 9/30/2016. To ensure uninterupted service for OCC employees and their families, the OCC is seeking a sole-source bridge contract with LifeWorks for a 12 month period of performance and no options. Ceridian LLC, the vendor the OCC currently receives EAP and Work Life support services from, allowed the GSA schedule that the current OCC contract is against to expire. The OCC will not be exercising the option on the current contract, and is seeking to award a sole source contract because of the inadequate amount of time to recompete. The OCC plans to award the contract to LifeWorks instead of Ceridian because LifeWorks now delivers the services the OCC requires under this contract for Ceridian.
