- UPDATED - Response date changed to 29 July 2016 at 10:00 a.m. EST. This is a sources sought synopsis in support of a market survey being conducted by the 11th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10, Market Research, to determine interest and capabilities of potential sources for the following services: Deployable Automated Cargo Measuring System (DACMS) profile upgrade which includes the replacement of beams/brakers/cabling, recalibrating scales, console upgrade of hardware and software, and an authorized agent capable of set-up and on-site training. This synopsis is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, a synopsis of a solicitation, a commitment on the part of the Government to later publish a solicitation, or ultimately award a contract. It is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources and method of procurement. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government will not reimburse the costs of preparing or submitting a response to this synopsis. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this market research, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. Prior to issuing a solicitation, a pre-solicitation notice will be published. Information submitted will not be returned. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 333997. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, the Government will determine the method of procurement for this requirement. Interested sources shall indicate whether they are capable of providing the requirement, the delivery timeframe anticipated after contract award, and the company size and status (i.e., small business, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB, etc.). Interested sources with the potential capability of providing this service must respond by e-mail to archie.y.warren.civ@mail.mil, referencing synopsis number F1D3496077AW01, no later than 12 PM EST, 2 August 2016.
