- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION The Government is issuing this Request for Information to determine a competitive basis. This is not a solicitation. This questionnaire is for market research purposes only. Only contractors capable of performing this type of work should respond to this Request for Information. Requirement The dismantling, transporting, and setup of a quad trailer; installing and connecting the new utilities; removing, storing and reinstalling office furniture; have ready for occupancy at the new location. Trailer is currently located at 310 Lancaster Rd. Lancaster, TN 38569. New location is Taylor Park Rd. Grand Rivers, KY 42045. The trailer is a quad with Two (2) sections each 11'-8 X 70'-0 and Two (2) sections each 13'-8 X 70'-0. There are no axles or wheels available. Three (3) of the four (4) tongues are available and one (1) has minor damage. All desks, cubicles, file cabinets, chairs, refrigerator, cork and dry erase boards, trash cans, etc. currently in the trailer are included in the relocation. Contractor may leave any items in the trailer for transportation that can safely be moved at their discretion. Items not transported with the trailer will need to be stored, and reinstalled. Any interior items that can't be reused must be replaced with similar materials. There are several boxes of unused carpet squares that may be used if needed. The government will have a site available at both locations to set storage and or shipping container/s. The contractor will remain liable for items stored on or off of Corps property until occupancy. Steps, handicap ramp, HVAC pads, skirting, etc. may be reused at the new location. Any exterior items that can't be reused must be replaced with similar materials. Unused materials must be disposed of by the Contractor off of Government property at their expense. Also included in this to replace the current phone system at the WKRO (Western Kentucky Resident Office) with the Intertel system that's currently installed in the Wolf Creek trailer. The phone and network will originate in the relocated Wolf Creek trailer and feed WKRO. *Please note that this description is subject to change.
