- FAR CLAUSES FOR SUPPLIES This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Instructions to offerors (Tailored for quotes under FAR part 13), evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached. The solicitation number is HSCG27-16-Q-XCC652 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-87. This acquisition is issued set-aside 100% for SMALL BUSINESS. Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR 13.004, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR 12.302 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes, but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR 13.004, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR 13.004. Where the word "offer/offeror" or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to "quote/quoter" or a derivative of that word. The associated NAICS code is 611420 and the small business size standard is $11 million. USCG Communications Command (COMMCOM), Chesapeake, VA 23322 has a requirement for windows server training during specific dates as per below. Vendor shall provide five days of instructor led training for Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012: 01AUG-05AUG to IT3 Wallace and IT3 Behnken. Vendor shall be in the local commuting area. Vendor shall provide a classroom, equipment and an instructor physically present in class certified by Microsoft to instruct the course. Certification testing is not required and will not be funded. Vendor shall provide five days of instructor led training for Administering Windows Server 2012 08AUG-12AUG to IT1 Breeden and IT3 Slowik. Vendor shall be in the local commuting area. Vendor shall provide a classroom, equipment and an instructor physically present in class certified by Microsoft to instruct the course. Certification testing is not required and will not be funded. Vendor shall provide five days of instructor led training for Administering Systems Center 2012 Configuration Manager from 15AUG-19AUG to IT3 Wallace and IT3 Behken. Vendor shall be in the local commuting area. Vendor shall provide a classroom, equipment and an instructor physically present in class certified by Microsoft to instruct the course. Certification testing is not required and will not be funded. Vendor shall provide five days of instructor led training for Active Directory Services with Windows Server from 22AUG-26AUG to IT1 Breeden and IT3 Slowik. Vendor shall be in the local commuting area. Vendor shall provide a classroom, equipment and an instructor physically present in class certified by Microsoft to instruct the course. Certification testing is not required and will not be funded. Vendor shall provide five days of instructor led training for Networking with Windows Server from 29AUG-02SEP to IT1 Breeden and IT3 Slowik. Vendor shall be in the local commuting area. Vendor shall provide a classroom, equipment and an instructor physically present in class certified by Microsoft to instruct the course. Certification testing is not required and will not be funded. Vendor shall provide five days of instructor led training for Administering Systems Center 2012 Configuration Manager from 12SEP-16SEP to IT1 Breeden and IT3 Slowik. Vendor shall be in the local commuting area. Vendor shall provide a classroom, equipment and an instructor physically present in class certified by Microsoft to instruct the course. Certification testing is not required and will not be funded. Vendor shall provide five days of instructor led training for Administering Windows Server 2012 19SEP-23SEP to IT1 Breeden and IT3 Slowik. Vendor shall be in the local commuting area. Vendor shall provide a classroom, equipment and an instructor physically present in class certified by Microsoft to instruct the course. Certification testing is not required and will not be funded. Vendor shall provide five days of instructor led training for Configure Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Services from 26SEP2016-30SEP2016 to IT3 Wallace and IT3 Behnken. Vendor shall be in the local commuting area. Vendor shall provide a classroom, equipment and an instructor physically present in class certified by Microsoft to instruct the course. Certification testing is not required and will not be funded. Vendor shall provide five days of instructor led training for Server 2012 Active Directory Services with Windows Server: from 24OCT2016-28OCT2016to IT3 Wallace and IT3 Behnken. Vendor shall be in the local commuting area. Vendor shall provide a classroom, equipment and an instructor physically present in class certified by Microsoft to instruct the course. Certification testing is not required and will not be funded. FAR 52.237-1 -- Site Visit (Apr 1984). Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Date and place of delivery and acceptance is on or before August 1, 2016 FOB Destination Delivery is to location in the local commuting area of Chesapeake, VA 23322. All quotes are due at USCG Base Portsmouth, VA by the Close of Business 28 July 2016.
