- Description
- The Government requires analytical, technical, operational, and management support services for industrial revitalization efforts to include caretaking assistance, modernization, explosives/energetics decontamination, demilitarization, demolition, disposal, and divestiture support for the Navy, other DoD and non DoD customers. Key tasks include technical analysis, site assessments, on-site surveys, procedure preparation, technical oversight and guidance, contingency planning, permitting, compliance, management support, program management reviews, and configuration management to perform, execute, and complete facility modernization, thermal treatment of bulk energetics and energetic contaminated materials, and the decontamination, demilitarization, demolition, and disposal of energetic contamination of various buildings, equipment, railcars, and scrap metal. A cost plus fixed fee contract with a base year and two one year options is anticipated. The incumbent contractor is VSE Corporation, Alexandria, VA, under Contract N00174-10-D-0011.
