- The US Army Contracting Command, APG, Natick Contracting Division on behalf of the US Army Garrison - Natick Directorate of Emergency Services intends to award a firm fixed price contract under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to L3 Mobile Vision Inc 400 Commons Way, Rockaway, NJ 07606 the purchase and installation of mobile data terminals in police vehicles at Natick Soldier Systems Center, Natick, MA this this terminal provides an all in one rugged computer unit and is a smaller unit compared to other companies. This unit is less obtrusive and does not obstruct the air bag system's operation for the safety of the driver. The unit is equipped with a touch screen, has a swing out design and is shock proof for vehicle use (will not turn off when driven on rough pavement). This unit is also transportable for multi-use and will better meet the needs of the department. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
