- Bonds Vendor Questions Attachment L-A RFP Document Cover Letter This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Sub-Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Justice, Justice Management Division has a requirement for trash and debris removal services at the Main Justice Building located at 950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington DC 20530. The scope of the required services includes all labor, management, supervision, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to provide trash and debris removal. The Government anticipates trash and debris hauling will occur two (2) times per week and on an as needed basis for the open top container. The containers shall be picked up and returned between the hours of 5am and 11am. The Contractor shall schedule the removal of the containers so the facility is not without a container for more than three (3) hours. These services require the installation of one (1) stationary compactor container and one (1) open-top container. The stationary compactor container unit shall have a capacity of twenty (20) cubic yards shall have sides no higher than 55" - outside measurement. The hopper of the compactor, the open top container and the truck and accessories shall not exceed 123 inches in height, to include container material. This requirement is set-aside for small business concerns. The period of performance will be for one base year and four (4) one-year options. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111 with a size standard of $12M. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available.
