- Description
- Specifications AG-3C78-S-16-0043 WRE Restoration Project. Wage Determination AG-3C78-S-16-0043. Drawings AG-3C78-S-16-0043 WRE Restoration Project. Solicitation AG-3C78-S-16-0043 WRE Restoration. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) is issuing a Request for Quote for the Alva and Susan Moore WRE restoration in Clark County Illinois. The project shall consist of mobilization and demobilization of the contractor's workforce and equipment, construction. The work consist of preparing the area for treatment; furnishing and placing seed, sprigs, mulch, fertilizer, inoculant, lime and other soil amendments; and anchoring mulch in designated areas as specified. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the projects is between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $36.5M. The Product Service Code is Y1QA. The anticipated period of performance for this project is 27 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP).The solicitation will be a Total Small Business set-aside. Please attachments including specifications and drawings. Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The applicable NAICS code is 237990. The successful low bidder will be required to provide a 100% payment bond or irrevocable letter of credit within 5 days of contract award. Any costs associated with obtaining this surety should be included in Bid Item 1 - Mobilization. If a bond is used, the bonding company must be on the US Treasury Department's list of approved surety companies. There is no bid guarantee required to submit a bid. No performance bond will be required for this contract. The solicitation package, construction drawings and specifications are posted and available from this site. A pre-bid site showing is being planned for Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 11:00 am Central Time.
