- The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) - Southern Tier in North Chicago, Illinois is soliciting businesses for Generator Load Bank Testing in accordance with Joint Commission standards for emergency diesel-powered generators in hospitals. Compliance with NFPA 111 Standards, Elements of Performance for EC.02.05.07, as well as all federal, state, and local environmental regulations is required. Testing will be conducted at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital (VAH) in Hines, IL. This testing will include at a minimum, four-hour load bank testing (as modified by the COR) under load conditions; as well as testing of the oil, fuel, and coolant systems. The Edward Hines Jr. VAH has 12 diesel powered emergency generators subject to testing. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, transportation, and all other supplies necessary to complete the required work found on RFQ: VA69D-16-Q-0097. The NAICS Code is 811310 with a Size Standard of $7.5 million in revenue. The period of performance shall consist of a 12 months Base Year and four (4) 12-month option years.
