- Description
- General Service Administration (GSA), Public Building Services, Greater Southwest Region, intends to solicit proposals for Elevator Inspections Services for Region 7 which includes Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. Offerors will be expected to provide all management, supervision, labor, material, equipment and supplies necessary to perform Elevator Inspection on a semi-annual, annual, and 5 year load test inspections. There are approximately 350 elevators that are located in Federal Buildings throughout the Region. In accordance with FAR 6.203 the procurement shall be a 100% Set Aside for Small Business concerns, under the North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) 541350 Building Inspections Services. The procurement will be awarded using FAR Part 15 procedures. The period of performance is for a base of twelve (12) months with four (4) one-year option periods to begin on January 1, 2017. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price monthly payments for elevator inspections. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities website at https:www.fbo.gov. No phone, fax, or email requests for a copy of the solicitation will be accepted. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring the website for possible amendments and/or additional information.
