- Wage Determination Food Services Provider The YWCA of Greater Los Angeles/Los Angeles Job Corps Center (LAJCC) has a subcontracting opportunity and is requesting proposals for an on-site Food Service Provider, NAICS 722310. The place of performance is LA Job Corps Urban Campus located at 1020 South Olive Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015. The Subcontractor shall operate one cafeteria serving well balanced healthy meals to the LAJCC'S population of approximately 535-614 students. Under Dept. of Labor Wage Determination WD 15-5613 dated 1/05/2016, the Subcontractor shall provide all necessary personnel to maintain the cafeteria and requisition, receive, store, prepare and serve food. The Subcontractor shall develop menus that meet the dietary needs of a diverse population, including ethnic, vegetarian, and low-fat alternatives in accordance with the Healthy Eating Active Lifestyles (H.E.A.L.S) program which is required as part of the dietary plan as directed by Job Corps, PRH Chapter 6, Section 11 Related Health Programs. The LAJCC will provide an office with necessary furniture which the subcontractor may use to conduct business related to the subcontract. Also, LAJCC will provide all necessary kitchen equipment needed to operate and maintain the Food Service Program. This award has been set-aside for small businesses only. This notice is not considered to be a commitment by the LAJCC to award a subcontract nor will LAJCC pay for the information solicited. A firm-fixed-price subcontract will be awarded with a one 1 year base period, plus four (4) each, one (1) year options. The Subcontractor must attend a mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference and Site walk that will be held on July 28 th, 2016 at 10:00a.m. A Request for Proposal Package is attached to this solicitation. Proposals are due no later than August 22 nd, 2016 at 10:00a.m.
