- W912PM-16-R-0019 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District: Communications Cables - Supply & Installation - John H. Kerr Powerhouse, Boydton, VA 23917 Location: The project is located on 1930 Mays Chapel Road, Boydton, VA 23917 Summary: Supply and install the 12 strand single mode fiber optic cable. The cable shall be manufactured by AFL, Inc., type Mini-Span 424, model number AE0129C520AA4. This work includes supplying and installing copper and fiber optic cables on the John H. Kerr Project, via directional bored conduits and over-head services. The over-head cables will be installed on existing poles on the project. No additional poles are required. The Contractor must have a Virginia Class A contractor's license. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in electronic format only and will be available on or about July 31, 2016. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. This solicitation is a 100% set aside for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237130- Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction and the size standard is $36,500,000.00. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation.
