- OBSERVATION ISLAND REMOVAL PROJECT Description: This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) under solicitation number DTMA93Q1600035. The NAICS code is 336611. This is a small business set-aside action. The purpose of this requirement is for the removal of designated materials from the USNS Observation Island and the USNS Sumner. This is for Department of Transportation (DOT) Maritime Administration (MARAD), Beaumont Reserve Fleet, 2600 Amoco Road, Beaumont, Texas 77705 PLEASE SEE ATTACHED SOLICITATION WITH STATEMENT OF WORK All questions and/or quotes to this Request for Quotation (RFQ) should be directed to the Department of Transportation via email to carolyn.quinn@dot.gov.
