- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), Electronic Systems Sector, a sole-source, cost plus fixed fee and firm fixed priced delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-15-G-0026. NGSC will perform engineering, technical, programmatic and logistical support, conduct repairs and procure test hardware for the APR-39 program. These requirements will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NGSC team is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the AN/APR-39D(V)2 system. As such, it is the only responsible source that possesses the technical data and requisite knowledge required to meet the Government's requirement. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award, or be responsible for any money expended by the interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above; information herein is subject to change, and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract.
