- Description
- The NAICS for this project is 237310 and the small business size standard is $36.5M. Work consists of the removal of rubber deposits on both the north and south ends of the runway. All white runway markings, excluding the edge lines, will be partially paint removed to knock off any non-adhered paint. The centerline stripes that fall within the rubber removal area will be completely removed during the rubber removal process. Contractor will be required to repaint the runway markings in accordance with the Statement of Work. Work will take place on the runway at Barksdale AFB, LA. The contractor is required to provide all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control, and supervision necessary to fulfill the requirement at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana, in accordance with the project statement of work. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 2 August 2016. The Request for Proposal will close on or about 1 September 2016. The Performance Period for this project is based on the scheduled airfield closure dates. Work is typically done over a long weekend or holidays. If work is not completed it will continue to the next scheduled airfield shutdown dates. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for HubZone certified Small Businesses in accordance with FAR Part 19.13. The Request for Proposal will be available by electronic transmission only at www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; see webpage www.sam.gov. All proposals shall be valid for 120 calendar days after the Request for Proposal closing to be considered responsive. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
