- LINEN RENTAL AND LAUNDRY SERVICES PROVIDER LAJCC-RFP-2016-09 The YWCA of Greater Los Angeles/Los Angeles Job Corps Center (LAJCC) has a subcontracting opportunity and request proposals for linen rental and laundry services. NAICS 812320. The place of performance is LA Job Corps Urban Campus located at 1020 South Olive Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015. Description: The description in this solicitation notice is just a brief summary of the requirements. The Subcontractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, management, supplies, soiled linen carts, transportation, and facilities necessary to perform complete laundry/linen rental services and tasks required under this subcontract. All services are to be performed in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The work required by the Performance Work Statement (PWS), consists of furnishing the physical laundry plant (at an off-site location), all labor, supervision, management, management support, supplies, ancillary equipment, vehicles and materials necessary for accomplishment of complete laundry/linen services. All workmanship shall be in accordance with practices established by the "Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council". After processing, all laundered articles shall be in a serviceable and sanitary condition, meeting established quality and performance standards Contract Type contemplated: FFP Period of Performance: This acquisition will contain a base year with 4 one-year option periods for a total contract period of 5 years. This notice is not considered to be a commitment by the LAJCC to award a subcontract nor will LAJCC pay for the information solicited. A Request for Proposal Package is attached to this solicitation. Proposals are due no later than August 26 th, 2016 at 10:00a.m.
