- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO SINGLE SOURCE: The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB, NV intends to award a single source purchase order to Harris Corporation. Nellis AFB has a requirement to acuire new radio equipment and integrate them with the current Harris P25 IP CAI (Internet Protocol Common Air Interface) system. This requirement incorporates equipment, installation, testing, and training. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13-106(b)(1). The anticipated award date is 28 July 2016. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this Synopsis is 25 July 2016 at 09:00 AM Pacific Standard Time.
