(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government is soliciting and negotiating with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b) (1)(i) "Only one responsible source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The name of the company the Government intends to award a contract to is, Specialised Imaging, Inc. located at 41690 Enterprise Circle North Suite 104, Temecula, CA 92590 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received prior to the closing date and time of this solicitation. (ii) The solicitation number is W911QX-16-T-0282 This acquisition is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88 with an effective date of 15 Jun 2016 (iv) The associated NAICS code is 333314. The small business size standard is 500 employees (v) The following is a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, (including option(s), if applicable): The Army Research Laboratory requires Three (3) Optical Triggers and One (1) Velocity Trap: CLIN 0001: One (1) Specialized Imaging SI-VT-SYS Velocity Trap CLIN 0002: Three (3) Specialized Imaging OT3 Optical Triggers CLIN 0003: Shipping (vi) Description of requirements: The Army Research Laboratory requires Three (3) Optical Triggers and One (1) Velocity Trap with the following specifications: CLIN 0001: One (1) Specialized Imaging SI-VT-SYS Velocity Trap With 3 Transistor-transistor logic (TTL) inputs and 4 programmable outputs CLIN 0002: Three (3) Specialized Imaging OT3 Optical Trigger with the Optical trigger must be environmentally sealed and has both high and low pass filters allowing between 300 nanometers (nm) and 700nm wave lengths to enter the sensor. CLIN 0003: Shipping (vii) Delivery is required: within four (4) Months After Receipt of Order (ARO). Delivery shall be made to US Army Research Laboratory, APG, MD. Acceptance shall be performed at US Army Research Laboratory, APG, MD. The FOB point is US Army Research Laboratory, APG, MD (FOB: Destination). (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
