- This is an award notice for Zika Virus surveillance services for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. This action is considered Urgent and Compelling under FAR 8.405-6. Midtown Personnel Inc. already has staff available that is working on a related contract and they are only vendor that would be able to meet the immediate need for the Zika Virus surveillance services. This contract has a short period of performance to meet the immediate needs. A copy of the approved Justification and Approval for this sole source action is attached to this notice. There is an ongoing need for general Public Health surveillance services at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. We will be issuing a separate sources sought notice for a new contract for the general Public Health surveillance services and interested vendors are encouraged to respond to that notice when it is posted.
