- JA MEMO Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, REGIONAL HEALTH CONTRACTING OFFICE - PACIFIC JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD HEALTH CONTRACTING (JBLM-HCC), Lacey, WA, intends to issue a firm fixed price, sole source award to Medtronic USA, INC in the estimated amount of $48,735.00 with two option years for Fusion Image-Guided, Surgical, and Otorhinolaryngology Stereotactic System Medtronic, Inc has proprietary rights for all maintenance service, parts and repairs, and/or software of the Government-Owned existing equipment currently located at Irwin Army Community Hospital (IACH, Fort Riley, KS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capabilities and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Ms. Angela Dexter at angela.a.dexter.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
