- Request for quote for Resurfacing of Emergency Spillway Attached is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Resurfacing of Emergency Spillway at Buckhorn Lake, 804 Buckhorn Dam Road, Buckhorn, KY, 41721. The work under this RFQ is 100% set aside for small businesses. Large businesses are not eligible for award. If you wish to make a site visit in order to have a better understanding of locations, conditions, and potential complexities of the location, please coordinate with the POC: Dewayne Shouse, Park Manager Buckhorn Lake 804 Buckhorn Dam Road Buckhorn, KY, 41721 (606) 398-7251 The attached construction wage rates will be required and should be considered with your quote. All proposed contractors are highly encouraged to review FAR Clause 52.232-33 Payments by Electronic Funds Transfer - System for Award Management, which indicates "All payments by the Government under this contract shall be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT)." Those not currently registered can obtain registration by going to the website http://www.SAM.gov. The process can usually be completed from 24 to 48 hours after submission.
