Award date is on or around 22 August 2016. Here is the skinny. Please refer to the attached.PDF for the complete solicitation. Solicitation P16PS01988 is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services resulting in supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included here. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the always intriguing Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-88. MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this service requirement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Navajo National Monument, End of AZ Hwy 564, Navajo County, Shonto AZ 86054 PAST PERFORMANCE: Your company must not be excluded from conducting business with the federal government. SITE VISIT: We will not have a site visit for this project, but we always encourage you to (hashtag) Discover Your Park. REQUIREMENT: This will be a contract to procure laser scan processing and printing service for the vendor to produce a 3-D printed tactile model for display in the Navajo National Monument visitor center. WAGES: Service Contract Act Wage Rate 2015-2023, revision number 3, pertains to this solicitation and resulting contracting. LINE ITEMS: There are four line items. If you use your form, ensure that you send us all of the requested information: the total quote, DUNS, responses to additional requested information, and a POC. IAW = in accordance with, SOW = Scope of Work. >> Line Item #1 Contract Task 1: Polygonal Modeling IAW SOW Quantity = 1 lump sum Deliverable: Digital Triangulated mesh model in.obj format (meters) at a point spacing of 7.5 millimeters. This model shall be split into rectangular blocks such that each model contains less than 20 million triangles. The models should contain intensity color information as an associated material (.mtl) file. Please indicate your proposed software package capable of complex meshing. >> Line Item #2 Contract Task 2: A second mesh for physical reproduction IAW SOW. Qty = 1 lump sum Deliverable: Digital triangulated polygonal models free of holes and topological errors suitable for physical reproduction using 3D printing technology delivered in.stl format, scaled in real-world dimensions corresponding to final fabricated size. Please note your proposed level of detail (e.g. triangles per square inch) that will be attainable on the final model. Line Item #3 Contract Task 3: Physical model production. Quantity = 1 lump sum Deliverable: Physical 3D-printed model. Contractor proposal shall contain options related to construction material by weight, durability, detail, color options, and texture. Line Item #4 Overview Report detailing field and office methodology. In addition to the deliverables requested above, the Contractor shall produce an overview report (.pdf) detailing field and office methodology. All digital media will be delivered on an external hard drive(s) shipped at the contractor ¿s cost to NPS.
