- This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bid (IFB) related to the Wellton-Mohawk and Knob Substations Building Repair Project. The buildings are located in Yuma County Arizona and Imperial County California adjacent to Interstate 8. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238160 with a size standard of $15 million. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This project consists of furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipment necessary to provide new roofing over-layment board, spray foam roof and elastomeric roof coating for the Welton-Mohawk Substation Control Building and the Knob Substation Control Building. Paint the exterior of both buildings. Replace two entry doors and the battery room AC for the Knob Substation building. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings. The solicitation, specifications and drawings, and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet free of charge. No CD-ROMS or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Interested parties can download the solicitation at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 1 August, 2016. Box 6457, Phoenix, AZ 85005 or email to cagle@wapa.gov referencing the solicitation number in the subject line. No phone calls will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. To obtain information on completing SAM registration and/or obtaining a DUNS number go to the following website: www.sam.gov. Contractors shall ensure Online Representations and Certifications is completed and current in SAM. It is important to read the solicitation COMPLETELY as there are DATES that MUST be met.
