- The United States Coast Guard, Base Cape Cod - Procurement & Contracting Department, Buzzards Bay, MA anticipates awarding SOLE SOURCE procurement to Aerial Machine & Tool Corporation DBA CAPEWELL AERIAL SYSTEMS, for the procurement of 05- 1560013 HGU-56/P Helmet, USCG Version Small, CG Blue 10- 1560014 HGU-56/P Helmet, USCG Version Medium, CG Blue 08- 1560015 HGU-56/P Helmet, USCG Version Large, CG Blue 05- 1560016 HGU-56/P Helmet, USCG Version X-Large, CG Blue 08- D11865-10A Gentex SOHAH Non-Ballistic Helmet Black, Small, W/NVG Hole 10- D11865-7A Gentex SOHAH Non-Ballistic Helmet Black, Medium/Large, W/NVG Hole (Aerial Machine & Tool Corporation DBA CAPEWELL AERIAL SYSTEMS is the exclusive distributor for Gentex Corporation who is the OEM for these helmets.) Vendor will provide all equipment, parts, and materials listed in the Schedule. NAICS Code #336413 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0400PM EST July 22, 2016 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
