Sources Sought Notice.DOC Source Sought Notice: The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL is seeking sources from industry to assist in finalizing the acquisition strategy for the purchase of Howard Day & Associates Inc. ALRS Turnkey Lodging System Mfg#: A7-ALRS12-7004A "Brand Name or Equal". The Government is seeking qualified, experienced sources interested in providing the items identified in the attached Statement of Requirements (SOR) below identifies the Governments requirement. NOTES OF IMPORTANCE: •1. A solicitation does not exist for this requirement. This is only a sources sought notice, so please do not submit proposals. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice •2. If the government decides to pursue a solicitation, portions of your sources sought notice response may be incorporated into the final solicitation. Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. •3. Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this notice. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. •4. Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this notice To assist the Government in developing a potential acquisition strategy, please provide the following information: •1. GENERAL INFORMATION : •a. Company's full name, business size, address, point of contact and telephone number. 2. CAPABILITIES: Please address the following regarding your capabilities in meeting the requirements contained in the attached "draft" Statement of Requirement (SOR): •a. Please answer yes or no, if your company is capable of fulfilling this requirement. b. If your company can meet this requirement please provide a yes or no response, to the following questions in regards to the non-manufacturer rule: i. Please provide the socioeconomic status of your business? ii. If your company is a small business will your company manufacturer the I tems? Please answer Yes or No. iii. If your company is a small business and does not manufacturer the required items will your company purchase the required items from a small business manufacturer? Please answer Yes or No. e. Project Milestone Plan (PMP). As a part of this RFI, the Government would like to obtain the standard lead time for the delivery and installation of the products contained in the table above and the attached SOR. Please provide the specified time period it will take your company to deliver and install the required items. The PMP may be expressed in terms of "days after contract award" and shall include, at a minimum a timeline for: Description Days After Contract Award Product Delivery Product Installation Total # Days to Complete the Project Responses: Responses to this notice shall be provided in writing via e-mail to SrA Marco Castaneda (Contract Specialist) at marco_antonio.castaneda@us.af.mil (334)953-7461 and Marcus Abram (Team Lead) at marcus.abram@us.af.mil (334)953-3526. All responses shall be received no later than 4 pm CST on Friday, July 29, 2016. Attachment (1): Statement of Requirements AUTOMATED LODGING RESERVATION SYSTEM •1.0 INTRODUCTION. The 908 th Airlift Wing requires the purchase of a"Howard Day and Associates, INC. automated lodging reservation system (Brand Name or Equal) allowing members to make, change and cancel their reservations without the need for Services assistance during unit training assembly weekends and throughout the month. 2.0 DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS. The Automated Lodging Reservation System must meet the following specifications for performance under this contract: 2.1 Windows 2012 server operating system or Newer 2.2 Microsoft SQL 2014 or Newer 2.3 Licensed ALRS software; 2.4 Peripherals 2.4.1 Computer Server/System platform; 2.4.2 Monitor - 19 inch 2.4.3 Keyboard 2.4.4 Mouse 2.4.5 Fax modem 2.4.6 Printer 2.4.7 Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) Battery back-up 2.4.8 Cable connections for the system 2.5 New (IVR) program that allows all phone lines to be monitored simultaneously 2.6 4 analog ports for incoming calls; 2.7 On-site intall/setup with auto back up 2.8 On-site trainingGround shipping 2.10 1 year warranty - hardware and software 3.0 INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS: Installation will be at Maxwell AFB, AL 36113 Bldg 1055 Room, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm CST. 4.0. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Training will be conducted after the installation of the System. Provide review materials, user guide for the system. 5.0. WARRANTY: 1 year included in base year and four one year warranty options. To include onsite repair or over the phone technical support. 6.0 GENERAL INFORMATION: All equipment must be new; no refurbished or resealed parts.
