- Description
- The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, hereby publicizes its intention to award a firm fixed price purchase order to IXI Technology, Inc., 22705 Savi Ranch Parkway, Yorba Linda, CA 92887. The potential vendor will provide Part Number SC-41001-04-0400, Sabtech Military Equipment Replacement Equipment (Smiles II), 4CH PARA, 2 REM HD, M81511, TMP 2.0 compliant, and Windows 10 Operating System. The SMILES II is a shipboard system that provides peripheral replacement for the Militarized RD-358 data recording system and Militarized USQ-69 human machine interfaces for the Weapon System UYK-43. The anticipated delivery date on the requirement will be on or before 26 weeks after receipt of the purchase order. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. Purchase Order to be awarded IAW Acquisition of Commercial Items FAR Part 12. No hard copy RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing that it can fulfill the requirement of providing these services may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be immediately responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of supplies provided.
