- This solicitation modification reflects a change to Page 12, Paragraph 2.1. The last sentence now reads, 'The supervisor may also work.' (changed from, 'The supervisor shall have supervision as his or her sole function.'). These are the answers to all the questions asked by offerors. THE SOLICITATION PACKAGE IS UPDATED: See SCA70016Q0005 MOD 1 Page 12, Paragraph 2.1 was amended. The last sentence was changed from, "The supervisor shall have supervision as his or her sole function." to "The supervisor may also work." THE NEW SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS UPDATED TO 5:00 PM (EST) July 25, 2016. ANSWERS TO ALL QUESTIONS ASKED BY OFFERORS ARE NOW UPLOADED. The U.S. Consulate Toronto invites you to submit quotes for "Janitorial Services of the U.S. Consulate General building", New Contract #SCA70016Q0005 MOD 1. Thoroughly examine all documents attached to this solicitation notice. The U.S. Consulate will conduct a site visit and pre-proposal conference on, Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Your quotes must be submitted by e-mail to GSOToronto@state.gov along with the attachments with the subject line: SCA70016Q0005 Janitorial Services COB Quotes addressed to Ms. Lisa Liao, Management Officer, U.S. Consulate General Toronto for receipt at the Consulate General on or before 5:00 p.m. (EST) on July 25, 2016. No quotes will be accepted after this time. As part of your proposal, please complete items 17a, 17b, 27a, 30a, 30b and 30c of the Standard Form 1449 including all blank spaces and have the form signed by an authorized representative of your company. This will be a firm fixed-price contract with no adjustment for any escalation in costs or prices of labor or materials. Each offeror is responsible for determining the amount of labor and materials that will be required to complete the project, and for pricing its proposal accordingly. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any competitive range of one or more offerors and to conduct further negotiations concerning price or other terms before awarding the contract, or to award without discussions.
