- SNOW BASKET FOR FRONT END LOADER The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of potential sources for the product needed. All interested parties should respond. Maine Air National Guard may issue a solicitation and award of a contract for a "Snow Basket for Front End Loader" subject to availability of funds. Provide one (1) each, 4.5 yard snow basket that will mount and operate on a front end loader specified (2008 John Deere 544J with JRB Hydraulic Coupler). New Snow Basket will meet the following requirements: - 4.5 Yard new Snow Basket - Slotted design that prevents snow from sticking to the bucket to fill effectively - Contractor will be responsible for isntall of the new snow bucket - complete w/CAT IT lugging installed - Drilled for bolt on edge. Bolt on edge installed - Two year warranty - will mount and operate on a 2008 John Deere front end loader. - Bolt on, reversible cutting edge - 4.5 cubic yard - Two year warranty - Slotted design technology - Bolt on, reversible cutting edge - Contractor will be responsible for installing the new snow basket. The snow basket may be installed at the Bangor Air National Guard Base or at a location selected by the contractor. If installed off base, the contractor will be responsible for delivery to and from point of installation. - Any and all wiring harnesses and controls shall be installed and included in the price offered. Items removed will be turned over to the customer. - Contractor will be responsible to assure that this is a turnkey contract and everything will be complete and ready to operate when accepted by the Maine Air National Guard. - Products need to conform to the following: Buy America Act.
