- The Mark Twain National Forest, located in Rolla, MO has a requirement for the Lost Lake Embankment Mitigation. The government intends to award one contract. Work will include, but is not limited to: mobilization, labor, supervision, expertise, services, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, incidentals, permits (when and if required), for mitigating a railroad embankment to alleviate safety hazards; clearing and grubbing, excavation, erosion control. NAICS: 238910, the size standard is $15Million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Woman Owned Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to Davis-Bacon wage rates. Solicitation number: AG-52B1-S-16-0060. This solicitation and any amendments will be available ONLY electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/, on August 1, 2016. A pre-quote meeting is scheduled for August 10, 2016 at 10:00a.m. local time at the project location. The location from the Dillard Mill road, turn left (north) on Hwy 49. Make the first left on the unnamed gravel road (labeled as Crooked tower road on googleMaps). Travel three miles to Forest Road 2741 (the first left after CR804).
