Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial Items/services prepared in accordance with the format Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and only an electronic solicitation will be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-64(effective 1/18/2013). This procurement is 100% Total Set Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The North American Industry Classification Code is 562211 and Size Standard is $35.5 million. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is VA250-15-Q-0325. The Government contemplates award of a single contract resulting from this solicitation. Anticipated period of performance is a base year and four (4) one-year option periods. This procurement is to furnish all necessary supervision, labor, supplies, equipment, material and transportation to pick up, package, transport, eradicate and disposal/destruction of bio-hazardous waste, pathological waste, and/or special wastes at Cincinnati VAMC. See the attached solicitation for full details of contract requirements. Anticipated award date: The contract is expected to be awarded on or before Aug 1, 2016. Offerors are advised to review 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors and Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 (Part 1- Proposal Preparations Instructions and Part2-Evaluation Criteria of the solicitation).
