- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Buying Office (S-MABO), intends to issue a solicitation to inspect and repair a 66-foot landing craft located at Cumberland Island National Seashore, St Mary ¿s GA 31558 on or about Jul 19, 2016. SOLICITATION NUMBER: P16PS02022. A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 336611. The small business standard is 1,000 employees. Inspection: Only (1) one group inspection is scheduled for this action on Aug 03, 2016 at 10:30am (ET) in St Marys, GA 31558. Details will be provided with the solicitation. Any questions must be received via email by 10:00am (ET) on August 9, 2016 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price order is expected to be awarded towards the end of August 2016. Note: Service Contract Act prevailing wages for the county that the awardee is located will apply. The Government will award (1) one order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on FBO.gov (Federal Business Opportunities) on or about July 19, 2016. This date is subject to change. No hard copy documents will be provided but all will be posted for download. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice.
