- Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Electrical Geodesics (DUNS: 809845365), pursuant to FAR parts 12 and 13. The proposed sole source purchase order is for upgrades to an existing dense array EEG system, including a magnetic sensor for digitization, amplifier upgrades and software for importing MRI data. Electrical Geodesics (EGI) is the only identified source for a commercially available dense array EEG system. This requirement for upgrades to the existing system is specific to the proprietary design of the EGI brand Geodesic EEG dense array system already in use at the requiring facility. No other source has been identified that would be capable of supplying equipment and software upgrades to the existing EGI brand system. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Wednesday, July 13, 2016, 07:00PM, EST. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
