- This is modification 1 to the synopsis entitled JOHNSON SPACE CENTER "JSC" OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT INFORMATION BRIEFING - NNJ16ZBD004S which was posted on June 21, 2016. You are notified that the following changes are made: Date and Location Changed. The due date for responses is extended. The Johnson Space Center (JSC) Office of Procurement is hosting a Procurement Information Briefing on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at University of Houston, Clear Lake, in the Garden Room located on the first floor of the Bayou Building. (This event was previously scheduled to take place on July 27th in the Gilruth Alamo Ballroom.) Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. for networking prior to the program, which will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Participants may ask questions at the end of each presentation and will have the option of using index cards to send anonymous questions during the event. This briefing is for all JSC contractors and those seeking to do business with JSC. Current topics include: • JSC Policy for Fair & Open Communications with Industry about Upcoming Procurements; • Revised Competitive Procurement Timeline; • Department of Labor - Service Contract Act Compliance Principles; and • JSC Labor Relations Roles If you have ideas on additional procurement topics to make this briefing more beneficial, please contact Dottie Smith (contact information provided below). The final agenda will be posted in a future notice, and the presentation charts will be posted shortly after the event. Those seeking to participate may only do so in person.
